Refund, Replacement & Cancellation Policy

At Amrutika, we specialize in handmade, natural, and artisanal soaps crafted in small batches with care. Because our products are personal-care and hygiene items, we follow strict quality, safety, and compliance standards. This policy explains when refunds or replacements are allowed, when they are not, and how disputes are handled.

We request all customers to read this policy carefully before placing an order. By completing a purchase on our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.


1. Nature of Products

All soaps sold on our platform are:

  • Handmade and batch-produced
  • Intended for personal hygiene and skincare use
  • Sealed and quality-checked before dispatch

Due to hygiene regulations and consumer safety norms, personal-care consumables cannot be resold once opened or used. This is the foundation of our refund and return policy.


2. No Return / No Refund on Opened or Used Products

For hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns or issue refunds under the following circumstances:

  • The soap has been opened, unsealed, used, or partially used
  • The product shows signs of tampering or handling after delivery
  • Dissatisfaction based on personal preference, including fragrance, texture, color, or suitability
  • Allergic reactions or skin sensitivity due to individual skin types
  • Orders placed with incorrect address, contact details, or instructions provided by the customer

Once a product is delivered and accepted, it is assumed to be in good condition, unless reported otherwise within the allowed time window.

This policy exists to protect both consumer safety and product integrity.


3. Cases Eligible for Refund

We understand that genuine issues may occur. A replacement or refund will be considered only in the following verified cases:

a) Damaged or Leaked Product During Transit

If the soap arrives damaged, broken, or leaked due to courier handling, After Investagition.

b) Payment Deducted but Order Not Confirmed

If the amount is deducted via PhonePe but no order confirmation is generated due to technical failure.


4. Mandatory Reporting Timeline

All issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

To raise a request, customers must provide:

  • Clear photos or an unedited video of the package and product
  • Order ID and transaction ID
  • Registered mobile number or email ID

Requests raised after 24 hours of delivery will not be entertained, as delayed reporting increases the risk of misuse and makes verification unreliable.


5. Verification & Decision Process

All refund or replacement requests go through a manual verification process.

  • Our team reviews the submitted proof
  • We may request additional information if required
  • Once verification is complete, a resolution decision is made

In eligible cases:

  • Replacement is offered first
  • Refund is issued only if replacement is not feasible

The final decision after verification is binding and non-negotiable.


6. Refund Policy & Timelines

If a refund is approved:

  • Refunds are processed only to the original payment method
  • Refunds are initiated via PhonePe Payment Gateway
  • Processing time: 5–7 business working days

Please note:

  • Bank processing timelines vary
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment providers

Once a refund is initiated, customers will receive a confirmation notification.


7. Failed, Pending, or Duplicate Transactions

In case of:

  • Failed transactions
  • Duplicate payments
  • Amount debited but order not placed

Such refunds are usually auto-processed by PhonePe within 3–5 business days.

If the refund does not reflect within this time, customers must contact us with:

  • PhonePe Transaction ID
  • Date of transaction
  • Registered mobile number

We will coordinate with PhonePe to resolve the issue.


8. Order Cancellation Policy

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed
  • Handmade soaps are prepared, packed, or allocated soon after order confirmation
  • Cancellation requests after processing begins will not be accepted

Please review your order carefully before completing payment.


9. Allergies & Skin Sensitivity Disclaimer

Our soaps are made using natural oils, herbs, essential oils, and fragrances. However:

  • Skin reactions vary from person to person
  • We do not guarantee suitability for all skin types

Customers are advised to:

  • Review ingredient details carefully
  • Conduct a patch test before full use

No refunds will be issued for allergic reactions or individual skin sensitivity.


10. Misuse, Fraud & Abuse Protection

We reserve the right to:

  • Reject refund or replacement requests that appear fraudulent
  • Block accounts with repeated refund abuse
  • Take necessary action in case of false claims or misleading evidence

This ensures fairness for genuine customers.


11. Policy Changes

We reserve the right to modify or update this policy at any time without prior notice.
The latest version published on our website will always be considered final.
